Streamlining VAT Compliance with a Spring Boot Microservice
Problem
Businesses using the Khajna platform needed to manually prepare Mushak-compliant VAT reports, a slow and error-prone process during tax filing periods.
Solution
Designed and built a dedicated Spring Boot microservice that connects to MS SQL Server, automatically generating Mushak-format VAT reports on demand, decoupled from the core ERP for independent scaling and easier maintenance.
Outcome
Replaced manual VAT report preparation with an automated, on-demand generation flow - reducing reporting effort and keeping the core ERP system easier to maintain.
